SUMUS - Improving Sustainability of Municipal service Provision in the Field of Water and Waste water Management
The SUMUS is a regional project in Danube basin initiated by three communal public companies to foster cross-boundary cooperation in sustainable water management and enviromental issues between Croatia and Serbia
The overall objective of the SUMUS is to contribute to integrated cross-border water management which will optimise water supply and reduce generation and enviromental impact of wastewaters.
Komunalije Ltd. Ilok and Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia on 1st March 2011.signed Grant Contract about SUMUS project implementation. The project is funded from IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance) European Union Fund, Component II, Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Serbia, Measure 1.2 Environmental Protection
JKP „Progres“ Bački Petrovac and Delegation of the European Union in Republic of Serbia signed Grant Contract on 23th March 2011 about SUMUS project implementation.
Total eligible cost of the action is 246.130 EUR, total duration of the action is 18 months
Locations of the action: Croatia, Vukovar-Srijem County, City of Ilok, City of Županja and Serbia, South Bač district, Municipality of Bački Petrovac, Bački Petrovac, Kulpin
